For a Negro erst habitual to act herb boots, hose and a garment — unitedly — today’s pick of clothing is unco sedate: Billy Connolly is act black jeans, a black T-shirt and a brown jacket. But underneath that outdoor beatniks the hunch of a disorderly Negro — or disorderly storyteller, anyway.
